Obesity fuels rise in c-section rates
A U.S study has shown that the larger a lady is when she checks in to give birth, the higher the risk of her having a cesarean section. In the United States, where obesity levels are incredibly high, nearly one in three births are now delivered by cesarean. The study also shows that women who exercise before and during pregnancy have much lower chances of having a cesarean section.
